Overview
Dialight 860 Series — FAA Approved Vigilant LED Based L-810 Obstruction Signals:
The Dialight 860 Series LED obstruction light recently received European ATEX Certification (Zone 2, Ex nA IIC T4) for use in potentially explosive environments. The light is also ETL Listed in compliance with UL 1598 and UL 844 for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations; certified to U.S. Federal Aviation Administration Advisory Circular No: 150/5345-43E and Canadian Aviation Regulation CAR 621.9; compliant with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 14, Third Edition, July 1999; and IP66/NEMA Type 4X rated. Available as a single or dual unit, the 860 Series features an optically designed lens to enhance LED operation and provide 360° visibility. The unit mounts on threaded 1- and 3⁄4-inch bottom hubs without the need for an additional box for wiring. It can operate in steady or flashing mode, and can withstand salt fog, air temperatures of –55°C to 55°C and winds in excess of 240 km/h.
