The Sony X-Series SRS-XG500 Portable Wireless Speaker. The integrated handle runs the full length of the speaker, which can handle getting wet and sandy, so you can break it out in the backyard, by the pool, or at the beach. Sony's X-Balanced speaker design includes two woofers, two tweeters, and passive radiators, which are engineered to pump out clear and crisp vocals with booming bass. Stream your favorite tunes from a smartphone or use your own talents to entertain with an (optional) mic and guitar. Built-in multicolored LED lights add to the ambiance, and the entertainment you provide will last the entire party thanks to a robust battery system.

X-Balanced Speaker System

The X-Balanced speaker system inside the XG500 consists of two 4.3" woofers and two 0.98" tweeters, along with a pair of passive radiators on each end. The noncircular-shaped diaphragm adds more surface area to each driver, which is meant to result in a clearer, richer sound, and booming bass. The sound can be adjusted as needed, so if you have some heavier music, activating MEGA BASS will deepen the bass sound. Activate LIVE SOUND to recreate the soundscape of a live concert.

Stream, Sing, or Play

An integrated rear USB port allows you to connect an external drive for playback, or you can pair your smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth and stream files and music apps wirelessly. If you want to be the star of the show, inputs on the back of the XG500 let you plug in an optional microphone or guitar to sing karaoke and play along with the song.

Massive Power

With up to 30 hours of playback on the full charge, the XG500 can entertain you and your guests all night long. If you forgot to charge the speaker and guests are arriving, a quick 10-minute charge will give you up to 3 hours of playback.

Party Lights

Integrated multicolor LED lights on either end of the speaker provide a subtle ambiance or can flicker with the music. Different lighting patterns can be selected via the Sony | Music Center app.

Party Connect

The XG500 can be connected with up to 100 compatible speakers to sync music and lights to support extremely large events.

Charge Your Phone

The USB-A port can be used to siphon off some of the XG500's power to recharge a smartphone or tablet. It's a handy feature for giving a guest a quick recharge on their phone or giving your music streaming device enough power to last the rest of the party.
